Story
Hi there!
Wivenhoe House at St John's Lutheran School, Kingaroy are stepping out in support of the Ukrainian people impacted by conflict.
Primary Students in Wivenhoe House are going to be walking for 15 minutes each day at school, during the week of Monday 10th until Friday 14th June.
On Tuesday 11th June, Secondary students will see how far they can walk in 70 minutes.
We would love your support... for the walking challenge we're about to embark on... but most importantly to help Ukrainian children and their families who have lost everything.
The funds that we raise will provide much needed support:
- We will build bomb shelters under schools so children can return to schooling,
- We will renovate 1500 apartments in Kharkiv so displaced families can return home,
- We will provide psychological support for displaced children and,
- We will provide emergency food and water for families in need. Thank you!
